I. Membership Services, Rights, and Obligations
Breast e-Academy is a digital learning platform established and operated by the Society.
The Service primarily provides the following features:
- Access to various digital course videos organized by the Taiwan Breast Cancer Society
- Point-accumulation and prize-draw activities for selected members and courses
- Notifications regarding member-related rights and interests
- Relevant information links

- The Service may contain links to online content operated by third parties. Such links do not imply any affiliation, partnership, or endorsement between the Service and such third parties. All third-party content is solely the responsibility of the respective providers and falls outside the control and responsibility of the Service. The Service shall not be liable for any damages arising from linking to non-Service content.
- The Service may cooperate with third-party companies or organizations ("Content Providers") to publish content on the platform, and the source of such content will be clearly indicated. Out of respect for intellectual property rights, the Service does not conduct substantive review or modification of content provided by Content Providers, nor does it guarantee the accuracy or authenticity of such content.
- The Society reserves the right to add, modify, suspend, or terminate any part of the Service based on actual operational needs.
- By completing the registration process or continuing to use any part of the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and fully agreed to all provisions of these Terms of Service. Certain services may be subject to additional terms or regulations announced separately, which shall form an integral part of these Terms of Service.
- Both the member and the Service agree that electronic records shall constitute valid expressions of intent.
- The Society reserves the right to terminate a member's account in cases of legal violations, failure to comply with these Terms, or malicious misuse of service privileges.
- The Society may revise these Terms at any time as necessary and shall notify members of such changes via email, telephone, online announcements, or other appropriate means.
- For necessary service-related notifications, the Society may use any contact information provided by the member. Members are responsible for keeping their contact information accurate and up to date. If notifications cannot be delivered due to incorrect, outdated, or incomplete information not attributable to the Society, such notifications shall nevertheless be deemed duly delivered.
II. Member Account, Password, and Security
Member accounts shall be registered using a company or personal email address and must be accurately provided. Each account and password may only be registered once.
Members must provide truthful personal and organizational information during registration. If false information is discovered, the Society may suspend or terminate the member's account. Any violation of the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan) will be pursued in accordance with the law.
Members are responsible for safeguarding their passwords and shall not disclose them to others. All activities conducted using a member's account and password shall be deemed to have been performed by the member and shall be legally binding upon them.
If a member discovers or suspects unauthorized use of their account or password, they must notify the Society immediately. Upon receiving such notice, the Society will suspend further transactions or use of the account. However, any legal responsibility incurred prior to notification shall not be exempted.
III. Privacy Protection

All personal data provided during registration or use of the Service shall be collected, processed, and protected in accordance with the Society's Privacy Policy.
- Data Record Validity
All records generated during a member's use of the Service shall be based on the data stored in the Service's database. In the event of any dispute, such electronic records shall serve as the primary basis for determination, unless the member can provide other valid evidence proving otherwise.
IV. Intellectual Property Rights
All software, programs, and website content used in the Service—including but not limited to works, images, files, information, data, website architecture, page layout, and web design—are the intellectual property of the Society or other rightful owners and are protected by applicable laws, including trademark rights, patent rights, copyrights, trade secrets, and proprietary technologies.
No individual may use, modify, reproduce, broadcast, adapt, distribute, publish, publicly display, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any of the aforementioned content without prior written consent from the Society or other rights holders. If you wish to quote or reproduce such content, you must obtain lawful authorization in advance.
Respect for intellectual property rights is a fundamental obligation of all members. Any violation shall render the member liable for damages incurred by the Society, including but not limited to litigation costs and attorney's fees.
V. Service Suspension or Interruption
The Society shall maintain the normal operation of the Service using generally accepted reasonable methods and technologies. However, the Service may be suspended or interrupted in whole or in part under the following circumstances:
- Relocation, replacement, upgrade, maintenance, or repair of service-related hardware or software, with prior notice provided to members
- Violation of applicable laws or these Terms of Service by the user
- Service interruption caused by natural disasters or force majeure events
- Other circumstances not attributable to the Society
- Events beyond the Society's control resulting in incorrect information display, forgery, alteration, deletion, unauthorized access, or system interruption or malfunction
VI. Effectiveness, Interpretation, Inquiries, and Governing Law
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid in whole or in part, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
In the event of any ambiguity in the interpretation of these Terms, interpretation shall be made in favor of the member.

The rights and obligations between members and the Society shall be governed by internet-related regulations and the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any matters not fully addressed herein shall be resolved in good faith based on the principles of honesty, fairness, and mutual benefit.
